100 Years of film industry was celebrated in Vijayawada at Tummalapalli Kshetrayya Kalakshetram on Sunday, 7th July 2013. Many prominent celebreties  from Telugu film industry attended the event. ‘Kalabhinetri’ Vanisri, D.Ramanaidu, Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce president Tammareddy Bharadwaj, honorary secretary Ashok Kumar, producer V.B.Rajendra Prasad (Jagapathi Arts Pictures) and producer K.S.Rama Rao (Creative Commercials) are the few to mention.

‘Kalabhinetri’ Vanisri inagurated an exhibition which was set up as part of 100 years of cinema celebrations and  Vijaya chamundeswari the veteran actress, accompanied her. Guests of honour who graced the event, included film directors Dasari Narayana Rao and K.Raghavendra Rao, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, Chennai, president C.Kalyan, director and president of Film Nagar Club K.L.Narayana Rao, producers C.Aswini Dutt and K.C.Sekhar Babu. This was a grand event.
