Antra Richa Gangopadhyay popularly known as Richa Gangopadhyay is an Indian film actress , model and a beauty queen . She is born on 20^th March 1986  to a Bengali couple in Delhi. She was crowned    as Miss India 2007 at the 26^th annual pageant held at Royal Albert’s Palace in New Jersey. She also won the title of Miss Photogenic in that competition. She also represented USA in the 17^th Annual Miss India Worldwide Pageant held at Johannesburg. Later, she came to India and she did a diploma course in acting from Anupam Kher’s acting school. Later she acted in few commercials like Vatika  Almond Hair Oil along with the Bollywood actress Preity Zinta , Peter Englang, Kalaniketan, Malabar Gold. She made her acting debut in Tollywood in the year 2010 with the movie “Leader” directed by Shekar Kammula and produced by AVM Productions. She is being paired opposite to Rana Daggubati in the film “Leader”.  Later she acted in few Tollywood films, she also acted in Tamil movies. She has created a special place in the hearts of the audience through her action and beauty. Though she acted in few films she became quite popular in Tollywood and also in Kollywood. Now she is being paired opposite to Akkineni Nagarjuna in the upcoming film “Bhai” directed by  Veerabhadram Chowdary and Nagarjuna is the producer on Annauorna Studios Banner in association with Reliance Entertainments.
