The movie Varna starring Anushka has completed its shooting. Title of the Tamil version is ‘Irandam Ulagam’. The movie, which is said to be a romantic drama is being directed by Sri Raghava, while the music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The movie also has Arya playing the lead role along with Anushka. According to sources, Anushka and Arya are going to be seen in dual roles.

The movie which actually began in 2006, stalled its shooting for various reasons and finally completed it this year. Initially it was supposed to be starring actors Karthi and Sandhya. This project, which cost the production team, a whopping 55 crores is being produced by Param V Potluri. The first look posters which were recently released were received very well.

The movie is rumored to be released some time in August. The shooting of Varna took place in the Ramoji film city, Goa and the soviet union of Georgia. This is the first and only movie to have shot at Georgia. The director of photography for this movie is Ramji while the editor is Kola Bhaskar. Actor Dhanush who gained popularity as a singer with Kolaveri is going to be lending his voice for one of the songs in this movie. The movie which was made on a huge budget is expected to become a huge hit in tamil and telugu.
