                    Jyothika is an South Indian Film actress. She was born on 18^th October 1978 in Mumbai. Her father, Chander Sadanah is a film producer in Mumbai.  She is the step sister of the film actress Nagma. She has a sister Roshni, who is also a film actress and a brother Suraj, who works as an assistant director to Priyadarshan. She completed her schooling in Mumbai. She graduated in Psychology at Mithibai College in Mumbai. She acted in many Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada Movies. She is married to Surya on 11^th September 2006. She is blessed with two kids a daughter Diya born on 10^th August 2007 and a son Dev born on 7^th June 2010. She made her acting debut with the Bollywood movie “Doli Sajake Rakhna” directed by Priyadarshan in 1998. She made her Tollywood debut with the movie “Tagore” released in 2003. Her acting in the movie “Chandramukhi” released in 2005 was tremendous. Even though she acted in few Telugu movies, she became quite popular in Tollywood. Many Tamil movies in which she acted were being dubbed in Telugu. She acted with many popular heroes.
