Mercury Movie Release in April
Mercury a silent movie is all set for a release on 13th April 2018.
Mercury Telugu release is by KFC Production.
When you think of films like Pizza, Jigarthanda, Iraivi and now Mercury, one name which connects all these dots is talented Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj. The wizard from Chennai is always game for different films and he has now brought us a film called Mercury to Tollywood.
After a long time, this is one silent motion picture which has several eyebrows raised all over south India with its theme. Karthik was in town to promote the Telugu version of the film and spoke about the film which is an out and out thriller.
Karthick says “The idea behind casting Prabhu Deva is as he has never done such a negative role in his career and this itself will be a shock value for the audience. The manner in which Prabhu sir has gone about his antagonist role will be the major highlight. He never rehearsed for the film and came on sets with an open mind. You will see a new Prabhu Deva in this film”.
Adding more he says” As the film is a silent movie, sound designplays a crucial part and music director Santosh Narayan has elevated every scene with his thumping background score. The film has a run time of fewer than two hours and will leave the audience thrilled to bits as the camerawork by Thiru showcases the visuals in a never before seen manner.
Mercury is releasing all over the country in various languages as it is a silent film. The film is produced by Karthik’s home banner who are also releasing the film in international arenas as well.
The film stars Prabhu Deva, Sananth Reddy, Deepak Paramesh, Shashank, Purushotham, Remya Nambeesan, Anish Padman and Indhuja in crucial characters.
Story is written by Karthik Subbaraj. Music is by by Santhosh Narayanan, Mithoon Sharma. Cinematography is by Tirru. Editing is by Vivek Harshan. Screenplay and direction are by Karthik Subbaraj.
