Anamika is the film based upon the  super hit bollywood movie, Kahaani, which is currently being remade by director Sekhar Kammula .The lead role is played by Nayantara. The film will be shot in tamil and telugu at the same time.The film has already started its shooting and their plan is to wrap up the complete shooting within a span of 50 days. A vital role in the film is being played by Vaibhav Reddy who is known for his movies Godava and Goa.

The movie is being produced by joint producers of Endemol India , Log line Productions and Select Media Holdings.

The movie revolves around a 7-month pregnant lady who is in search of her missing husband played by Nayantara. Nayantara will be seen in a different  avatar from her usual films. Anamika is sure to touch the audiences with the story being filled with sentiments and inspiration.  Nayantara’s acting in this movie is something that should be looked out for.She has got tremendous response for her acting in `Greeku Veerudu’ which was released recently.
