Ram Charan is one of the leading heroes in Telugu film industry. He is son of legendary actor Chiranjeevi. He debuted in Tollywood in the year 2007 with the movie Chiruta. For that movie he got 3 awards namely CineMAA Award as Best Male Actor on Debut, Film fare Award(South-2007) as Best Male Actor on Debut and Nandi Special Jury Award for Best Actor category.
His next movie was Magadheera in combination with director Rajamouli. That movie broke all the records in the industry and collected highest share. For this movie, again he received 3 awards i.e. Nandi Special Jury Award for Best Actor, Film fare Award for Best Actor – Telugu and CineMAA Award for Best Actor – Male.
His next movie was Orange, which could not meet the expectation of audience.
Ram Charan married Upasana Kamineni in the year 2012.
