It is known that director Shekhar Kammula was going to be remaking bollywood hit ‘Kahaani’. The movie was a woman centric movie starring Vidya Balan in Hindi. Shekhar Kammula has roped in Nayanathara for her role in the telugu remake. The news is that the movie had begun its shooting in Hyderabad and the shooting is currently going on at a very fast pace. Shekhar Kammula reportedly wants to finish making the movie in as less time as possible.The movie is being produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings.

The movie Kahaani has Vidya Balan playing the role of a pregnant woman who is in Kolkata in search of her missing husband. The movie touches the themes of motherhood and feminism in the male dominated Indian society. We will have to wait and watch how Nayanathara is going to portray   the role which got Vidya Balan much fame and many accolades. Hopefully the role will take Nayanathara to a very high level in tollywood. The movie was directed in Hindi by Sujoy Ghosh. Shekhar Kammula who is one of the best directors of tollywood and known for his strong portrayal of women is sure to make a great movie out of the remake.
