Producer Dil Raju released the movie Srinivasa Kalyanam today, the 9th August 2018.On this date in 2006 Dil Raju’s movie ‘Bommarillu’ was released. Bommarillu was a block buster and Dil Raju has decided to try his luck by releasing ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’ on the same date.
Vasu(srinivasa Raju-Nitin) is an educated young man coming from a decent joint family.He gets a job in chandgarh where he meets Sri(Rashi Khanna) working in the same office. Vasu falls in love with Sri(Rashi Khanna),the daughter of R K(Prakash Raj),a rich entrepreneur who values for time. Sri though from a rich family leads a simple life. Vasu approach RK to marry Sri. Rk puts a conditional pre martial Agreement. Prakash Raj does not believe in old customs and Traditions of Marriages but he cares for time. The marriage of Vasu with Sri is done,but Vasu leaves the marriage venue. What is the pre-martial agreement? Has Prakash changed his mindset? How Vasu convince Prakash Raj ? these are to be seen on the silver screen.
The story is good with new twits.An intewresting script prepared by the director and done well in presenting it.The main point the director wanted to convey is the great traditional values behind the saga of marriage.
Nitin has given a subtle performance. Rashi Khanna has performed the as it required. All others performed their roles with ease and elevated the content of the story.The technical and production values are rich. Music is good.
The movie can be seen once to know the traditions and values behind marriages.It can be stated as a good family entertainer for this weekend.
