Sunil As Bhakta Kannapa In Tanikella Bharani Movie

Tanikella Bharani, one of the most popular writers and a great actor of Tollywood made his debut as a director with the movie “Midhunam” in 2013 starring the great singer S.P.Bala Subramanyam and the beautiful actress of yesteryear’s Lakshmi in the main lead. This movie is also nominated to Oscars as the best Foregn Language Movie.  He is all set to direct his second movie titled “Bhakta Kannapa”. Bhaktha Kannapa was a great devotee of Lord Shiva. The actor Sunil has been selected to play this role in this latest upcoming project. It will be made in three languages Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.  Currently Sunil is very busy with his upcoming projects and even the director Tanikella Bharani is also busy in giving the final touch to this movie’s script.  It is being expected to go on floors from April 2014.  In 1976 a movie with the same title was released which was being directed by Bapu. The rebel star Krishnam Raju was in the main lead .This movie was a great block buster hit. Now, we should wait and watch how Tanikella Bharani’s movie “Bhakta Kannapa” will be received by the audience.
