Telugu Industry Celebrations at 100 Years Of Indian Cinema
100 years of Cinema celebration was organized by South Indian Film Chamber at Chennai. PVP Cinema is the main sponsor for this event. On 22nd evening Telugu industry celebrations were held. Producer Krishnaveni , Director K.Balachander, D.Ramanaidu, Vanisri, Rojaramani, Yedida Nageshwara Rao, K.Raghava, Tatineni Ramarao, Rajasri, Singitham Srinivasarao, Krishnam Raju, Madhavi, Geethanjali, U. Vishweshwararao, Sirivennela Sitaramasastry, P J Sharma, Brahmanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Aswini Dutt, Rajashekar, Allu Aravind, Sambashiva Rao, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Kaikala Satyanarayana, S P Balasubramanyam, Rajendra Prasad, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Rangarao, Bhaskararaju were felicitated with mementos for their contribution towards Telugu Industry. State Ministers D K Aruna and Ghanta Srinivasa Rao have presented the mementoes. D K Aruna said that Telugu film industry has undergone many changes from mooki to talkie and now became digital but I wish there should be less violence and our culture representation should be their in our movies. Some audio and video as a tribute to Tollywood have been presented and songs from old movies to till date were presented by singers.
