The year 2015 has seen many surprises.There were many ups and downs.Few movies expected to be block busters failed to impress at the box-office.There seems to be a change in the viewer’s taste.This 2015 has seen many small films gaining success at the box-office.

S S Rajamouli has taken the Telugu cinema in to new heights.His movie Baahubaali had a successful screening in entire India.This is a good sign for Telugu cinema.Mahesh Babu’ Srimanthudu has created an ‘Hul-Chul’ by crossing 100 crores with Director Koratala stabilizing his position as big director.The first Indian 3D historical movie was made by director Gunasekhar and succeded in impressing the audience.

The stars of success are Prabhas(Baahubali),Rana(Baahubali and Rudramadevi),Mahesh Babu(Srimanthudu),Allu Arjun(S/O.Sathyamurthy),Jr.NTR(Temper),Sai Dha ram Tej(Subramanyam for sale),Raj Tarun(Cinema Choopistha Mava),Varun Tej(Kanche),Gopichand(Jill),Nani(Bhale Bhale Magadivoy)

The year 2015 started with  the release of Dhanush starrer ‘Raghuvaran B.Tech’ a dubbed version of Tamil hit VIP.The movie fared well at the box-office.Later 2 more dubbed movies of Dhanush(Pandem Kollu and Anekudu) failed to impress.

The year continued with a bang with the release of Pawan Kalyan,Venkatesh Starer movie ‘Gopala Gopala’.Then came the movie ‘Ai’ directed by Shankar.This dubbed from Tamil movie failed to impress.

Jr.NTR came back to his past glory with the super hit movie ‘Temper’.

Allu Arjun impressed the movie lovers and his fans with his impressive action in ‘S/O.Sathya Murthy directed by Trivikram Srinivas.

Kalyan Ram after a long time came with his successful movie ‘Pataas’ as an actor but failed as producer with the movie ‘Kick 2’.He also could not impress with ‘Sher’.

Young actor Sundeep kishan came with an above average movie ‘Beeruva’ and successful movie ‘Tiger’.

Sharwanand stabilized his position as hero with the movie ‘Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju’.

The ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ hero Sai Dharam Tej could  impress with his dances in the movie ‘Rey’,but the movie failed at the box-office,but came back with success with the movie ‘Subramanyam For Sale’

Nani’s 2 releases, Yevade Subramanyam and Janda Pai Kapiraju had average runs and improved his position in Tollywood.He was impressive with the movie ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ and cemented his position as hero in Tollywood.

Allari Naresh continued his flop story with ‘Bandipotu’ and ‘Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu’

Naga Chaithanya came up with ‘Dochay’ produced by B V S N Prasad and directed by Sudheer Varma, but failed to impress.

Nara Rohith action was impressive in the movie ‘Asura’ which can be rated as above average movie.

The loukyam hero T Gopichand Continued his Success rate with the movie ‘Jill’ but failed with the movie ‘Soukyam’

Ram was in shade with few earlier flops, but came back with impressive performance in the movie ‘Pandaga Chesko’ but failed with “Shivam”

Puri Akash,son of director Puri Jagannadh failed to impress with his debut movie ‘Andhra Pori’.

The mass maharaja failed with the movie ‘Kick 2’ but rebounced to retain his title Mass Maharaja with the success of ‘Bengal Tiger’.

Ram Charan failed to impress with movie ‘Bruce Lee’ which ended as a flop.

Akhil came as a debutant with the movie ‘Akhil’ directed by V V Vinayak.He impressed with his dancing style,but failed to impress as an actor.The movie ended as a flop.

Manchu Vishnu could not prove with the movie ‘Dynamite’ which failed at box-office.

Though Anushka starrer movie Tamil version ‘Inji Iduppazhagi’ had a decent run but the Telugu version ‘Size Zero’ failed to impress and ended as a flop.

There are 4 movies lined up for release during sankranthi.Jr.NTR’s movie Naannaku Prematho is scheduled for release on 13th January.Balakrishna’s Dictator and Sharwanand’s Express Raja are hitting the silver screens on 14th January.Nagarjuna is coming up with Soggade Chinni Nayana on 15th January 2016.

The year 2016 looks to be impressive with many big films either getting ready or on sets.
