Tollywood in 2013 International Film Festivals

The year 2013 looks to be an helping year for the small movies. Manchu Lakshmi’s prestigious movie Gundello Godari was screened at Daring Independent Film Festival,Canada on the 26th of December 2013 which happens to be the boxing day. This year few low budgeted Telugu movie made an impact with getting screened at different film festivals in foreign soil. Rajendra Prasad starer movie ‘Dream’ has bagged 3 International Awards.It happened to be the first Telugu movie to be screened at Times Square,New York. The movie ‘Anthaku Mundu Aa Tharuvatha’ selected for International Indian Film Festival of South Africa to be held in January 2014. Naa Bangaru Thalli won the Best Feature Film Award at the 2013 Trinity International Film Festival and four Awards at IFFCRM (International Film Festival for Comedy, Romance and Musical), Indonesia.

Rajamouli’s Eega also bagged many International awards.

4 small Telugu movies made a big impact at International level.This is a good sign for Telugu Cinema.
