Tollywood’s original six-footer and hunk, who probably had the largest fan base from audiences of all ages right from the time he set foot in Telugu cinema, ‘Rebel star’ Prabhas just turned 34! The Mr.Perfect of t-town was born in the year 1979, 33 years ago today in the city of Chennai. With a captivating, intense and versatile style of his own, Prabhas has managed to create an impact on the Telugu audiences in a way that no other actor could.

Prabhas’ very first movie Eeshwar, which was released in the year 2002, where he played a young lover very efficiently and nothing like a first timer, was quite a big hit in Tollywood. He then went on giving bigger hits every year with unforgettable movies like Raghavendra, Varsham, Chakram where he played different yet very influencing roles in each one of them. The one Tollywood movie that will be unforgettable, for his powerful portrayal of the lead role is Chatrapathi, for which he worked with Rajamouli. His most recent release, Mirchi is one of biggest blockbusters of Tollywood and is even going to be dubbed into 3 more languages.

Despite being the nephew of the popular star Krishnam Raju of the yesteryear and resembling him in many ways, the actor managed to make a mark of his own. Prabhas won two awards, the Santosham film award and the cineMAA award for the movies Varsham and Darling and was nominated for many more in his career.

Prabhas, as most of us already know, is working for the periodic movie Baahubali, probably the most awaited film of next year, as a mighty warrior and also for a movie that will be directed by his uncle Krishnam Raju.
