The much awaited Toofan starring Ram Charan Tej has wrapped up its shooting according to the sources. The movie is the telugu version of ‘Zanjeer’ which happens to be the debut for Ram Charan Tej in Bollywood. The movie is being directed by bollywood director Apoorva Lakhia. It stars Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and this is going to be her first movie in Tollywood. Toofan  movie is the  remake of Zanjeer by Amitabh Bachchan

Prakash Raj, who is playing a major role in the movie tweeted about the movie saying ” Wrapped up Zanjeer. I truly loved my role in the film. I’m sure you have a good entertainer to watch. Thanks to Apoorva Lakhia and the team ”

The movie is being produced by Apoorva Lakhia and Amit Mehra under the Reliance Entertainments, Adai Mehra productions and Flying turtles banner. The music was scored by Devi Sri Prasad. The trailer of Toofan which was released on Ram Charan’s birthday was well received. The movie might release sometime in June.
