He made a Cameo apprentice in ‘Manam’(2014) which had ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the main cast.
Akhil’s debut movie as hero is ‘Akhil'(2015) directed by V V Vinayak.Though the movie failed to impress,Akhil was impressive with his action.
Now after a short gap he has decided about his next movie to be directed by Vamsi Paidipalli who is enjoying the success of his latest release “Oopiri’with Nagarjuna and Karthi in the main lead roles.This is going to be a remake of Bollywood hit ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’(2013).
