Meka Suri Web Series Trailer Released

Nara Rohit unveils the trailer of ‘Meka Suri’
The web series will stream on ZEE5 from 31st July 

ZEE5 has been dishing out entertaining content tailored to suit the tastes of the Telugu audience.  The OTT platform continues to mesmerize the viewers with pure Telugu series, direct-to-digital movie releases, and original content.  Afresh, it’s going to come out with a new series.  ‘Meka Suri’, produced by  Simba Entertainment and 1725 Studio, is its latest offering.  Karthik Kancharla is producing it.  The soon-to-be-streamed web series introduces theatre artistes Sumaya and Abhinay as the lead pair.  

The trailer of ‘Meka Suri’ is out.  Trinadh Velisala, who worked as an associate director for ‘Mosagallaki Mosagadu’ and ‘Okka Kshanam’ and as an assistant writer for ‘Brother Of Bommali’, is debuting as a director with the web series, which will start streaming on ZEE5 from July 31.

The trailer was unveiled by actor Nara Rohit, who is admittedly thrilled by its content. He tweeted, “Happy to launch the trailer of the most thrilling and action genre ‘Meka Suri’. My heartfelt wishes to ZEE5 Telugu and debutant Trinadh Velisala for this effortless attempt.”

The web series comes with an exciting premise. Suri, who measures 6’3” ft, is a skilled butcher.  He is so popular in the village for the skill that everyone calls him ‘Meka’ Suri.  Rani, the most beautiful girl in the village, and Soori fall in love with each other and get married.  Men of all ages have a crush on Rani.  One day, she gets murdered.  Who is behind the crime and how does Soori avenge the murder of his beloved wife?  That’s what you will have to find out on ZEE5.

The web series, thus, comes with a fitting description.  “You can run, but you can’t hide. He will find you! He will stop at nothing. He will take his vengeance! Everyone will get what they deserve, nobody can escape from his wrath,” the makers say.  

Prajwal Krish, who had worked on ‘Saroja’ (Kannada) in the past, has composed the music.   The cinematography is by Pardhu Saina.
