Polimera 2 wins big at prestigious 14th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival: Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskarla wins Best Actress Jury Award

The success of “Maa Oori Polimera,” which premiered directly on Disney Plus Hotstar OTT during the lockdown, surprised everyone and led the creators to develop its sequel, “Maa Oori Polimera 2,” also known as “Polimera 2.” This sequel has become one of the highly acclaimed horror thrillers in the Tollywood industry. Directed by Anil Vishwanath, “Polimera 2” received a warm reception at the box office and garnered positive reviews. The film was released grandly in theaters on November 3rd by the passionate filmmaker and successful distributor Vamsi Nandipati. “Polimera 2” achieved remarkable success at the box office with sensational collections. Director Dr. Anil Vishwanath received the award on behalf of Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskarla, in the presence of filmmaker Vamsi Nandipati and producer Gowr Krishna. Along with this prestigious award, both the film’s director and producer also received the Certificate of Excellence. Dr. Anil Vishwanath expressed his happiness at receiving such recognition on a prestigious stage and lauded Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskarla for her phenomenal performance in Polimera 2.

The entire cast and crew are buoyed by the big win at Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival. Produced by Shree Krishna Creations and presented by Gowr Ghana Babu, the movie is helmed by the talented director, Dr. Anil Vishwanath. The stellar cast includes Satyam Rajesh, Dr. Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Getup Srinu, Rakendu Mouli, Baladitya, Sahitya Dasari, and Ravi Varma, all portraying pivotal roles.

About Polimera 2:
Set in the superstitious village of Jasthipalli, the disappearance of police constable Jangaiah (Baladitya) sparks concern. His elder brother Komuraiah (Satyam Rajesh), known for his involvement in black magic, is presumed dead, adding to the mystery. The arrival of the new sub-inspector, Ravindra Naik (Rakendu Mouli), refocuses attention on Jangaiah’s disappearance. As Ravindra Naik delves into the enigma surrounding Komuraiah and Jangaiah, startling revelations emerge. Komuraiah’s actions are intricately linked to the sealed Lord Vishnu temple and the hidden treasure beneath it. Black magic plays a central role, but many mysteries remain.
