Tollywood actor Ram who is known for his composed style of acting and exceptional dancing skills celebrates his 26th birthday today.  Ram happens to be the nephew of  telugu producer Sravanti Ravi Kishore. He also happens to be the son of a popular film personality of the yesteryears,  Murali Pothineni.

Ram was born in Hyderabad and finished his schooling from Chennai.He had a passion towards acting since his childhood. He was 12 years old when he acted in the Short Film ‘ID’ in Tamil.

Ram entered into the Telugu cinema with the movie  Devadasu which was released in the year 2006 and went on to become a huge hit. Ram acted under the direction of  the popular director Y V S Chowdary right with his first movie. He won the hearts of the telugu audiences with Devadasu  in which he performed exceptionally well as a beginner. He won the Film fare award (South – 2006) as best male actor on debut for this movie.

He then went on to act in many other movies like Ready, Ganesh Just Ganesh (2009), Kandireega, Endukante Premanta and Ongole Githa. The movie Ready became a huge hit and got him immense fame and success. He is going to be seen next in the remake of the movie Bol Bachchan which is filming.
