A Kannadiga by birth directed many Telugu movies with NTR,Kantha Rao as heroes.He started his career as a Restaurant owner and then switched on to Touring Talkies.Then a film producer and directed.Most of his Telugu films were hits.Kanaka Durga Pooja Mahima,Aggipidugu,Mangamma Sapatham,Aggi Dora,Madana kamaraju katha,Bandhipotu,Jwala dweepa Rahasyam,Pidugu Ramudu were his Box-office hits.

He was called as Janapaqda Brahma (Creator of Folklore)
