Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal starrer “Baadshah” movie celebrated its Hexa platinum disc function yesterday at Hotel Novotel  in Hyderabad. Within few days after the audio release, the makers of the the movie have come together for the hexa-platinum disc function. The reason being that the popularity of the songs in the movie. All the songs have been composed by S.S.Thaman.

As many as 50 known artists like Navdeep, Bramhanandam etc. are working in the movie. Many noted film personalities like Bellamkonda Suresh, K.L.Narayana, K.S.Ramarao,VV Vinayak,  Harish Shankar, Dil Raju, Vamsi Paidipally etc came to the  grace the event.

In the event, all of them shared their own experiences about the film. First was director, Srinu Vaitla said ” Working with NTR was a great experience. He has surprised us with his acting and dances. We wanted to highlight Jr. NTR dancing and he has worked hard for deliver what we expected of him and made our expectations come true. The best part about him is that even though he is a star, he never throws starry tantrums and cooperates well. Bandla Ganesh’s love towards movies make him the most dedicated producer i have ever seen. Thaman never felt disgusted with us even when we asked for so many tunes. I thank all the team who have given everything to make this film  outstanding. I want to  make many more films with NTR and Bandla Ganesh“.

Jr. NTR said ” We generally forget so many beautiful memories as the time progresses. I have also forget many memories and the taste of the first success.  The movie is so special that I remember all of the memories of the movie. Srinu Vaitla has  has a fear for success and that has enabled him to become so successful as a director.  He is very dedicated and he took care  of every single scene. I thank him for making such an excellent movie with me. I have had no so much intimacy with Bandla Ganesh when he was an actor and I never expected that he becomes such a big producer. His love for the movies and dedication are very rarely seen. I used to see Thaman as a key board player under Manisharma and I love his music for Kick so much. So I have okayed him as the music director for Brundhavanam with any thought. His is an outstanding career and I thank him for giving an outstanding album once again with Baadshah. I thank the whole team, especially the story writers Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat for their outstanding work”.

Bandla Ganesh said, ” I am happy that audience are waiting for my speech for an year. This is my dream project. Being such a great actor, NTR has never felt like a big star and has been very cooperative.  Srinu Vaitla is like my brother. He is a perfectionist and it is a wonderful experience working with him.  Thaman is brilliant and the duo Kona Venkat and Gopimohan has given us an excellent story. Audience will have all the elements which they expect from young tiger’s film and  I confidently say that this film will be a feast for his fans”.

All ready the movie seems to have a flying start but the bigger news for the fans of the movie is that , Baadshah will have a record breaking release in about 120 screens in USA, and 100 more screens in countries like Canada, Australia, UK, few parts of Europe, Middle East, etc. It is the biggest overseas release ever for a Telugu movie.

The movie is directed by Srinu Vaitla. It will be released on April 5th, 2013.
