Review: Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back in form with this movie. He has come up with an action entertaining performance as Ravi in the first half and as Balupu Shankar a rowdy sheeter in the flash back. The introduction of Ravi Teja is really good. He is looking very smart in the red shirt with grey tie and grey colour trouser with a clean shave and holding a cricket bat. The story of the movie is routine with different climax. The gangam dance of Bramhanandam and Shruti Haasan is fantastic. Pavan Kalyan scene from Gabbar Singh in the first half got a very good response. The jumping jumping jampang dance in the climax was really entertaining. Everyone was good in their roles. Sruthi Haasan and Anjali were looking pretty and beautiful.
Story Line: The movie starts with the Lakshmi Rai making an entry to act in a charity show which was organised by Rohit (Advi Sesh) and she comes to know that she was there to entertain Rohit and not a charity show, Lakshmi Rai runs from there to save herself and Ravi ( Ravi Teja), who works in a bank at Banglore, fights with Rohit and saves her . Shruti (Shruti Haasan) and Rohit gets engaged. Crazy Mohan (Bramhanandam) uncle of Sruthi suggests her to enjoy the life till she gets married. Shruth and Crazy Mohan both play pranks on people and enjoy. One of the Ravi’s friends (Satyam Rajesh) becomes victim of Shruti and crazy Mohan‘s pranks and attempts suicide. Ravi wants to teach them a lesson and plays the same game on Shruti and Crazy Mohan. Mean while, Nanaji (Prakash Raj ) father of Ravi in a hunt of a good bride for his son. The story takes a turn before the interval when Poorna(Ashutosh Rana) who is also a rowdy reveals the secret that Prakash Raj and Ravi Teja are not father and son but both are great enemies in their past.
The second half starts with a flash back where Balupu Shankar (Ravi Teja) works for Poorna and goes against Nanaji (Prakash Raj), who is much known rowdy of Vizag. Balupu Shankar falls in love with Dr.Anjali (Anjali) who is the daughter of Nanaji but he doesn’t agree for their marriage. The story takes a twist with the murder of Anjali. Both Nanaji and Shankar leave their past in the city and move to Bangalore to start a new life. The rest of the story should be watched on the big screen.
Music in this movie is routine and not so special. The Photography of the song sequences is good. Jayanan Vincent handled the camera well.
The Sequence of the songs are:
1. Lucky Lucky Rai.
2. Kajalki Chelivaa.
3. Padipoyaanila.
4. Yaevaindho.
5. Pathikella Sundari.
The comedy in this movie is clean and really entertaining. The direction of Gopichand Mallineni is good. There is no much violence. The chemistry between Anjali and Ravi Teja is good and the scenes between Shruti Haasan and Ravi Teja are worth watching. Kona Venkat dialogues and the editing is good.It is a clean action comedy entertainer.
Rating: 3.5/5.
Bottom Line: A good action comedy entertainer made for one time watch.
