100% Telugu OTT platform aha will treat audiences to the global Telugu premiere of the gripping techno-horror thriller Chathur Mukham, starring Manju Warrier, Sunny Wayne and Srikanth Murali on 13th August. The critically acclaimed thriller is the first South Indian film set in the techno-horror genre, directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V. Chathur Mukham also made a splash at several international festivals like Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN),  Chuncheon International Film Festival (CIFF) and Méliès International Festivals Federation (MIFF). Ahead of its premiere on August 13, aha had unveiled the trailer of the film on Wednesday.

The trailer of Chathur Mukham introduces viewers to a modern-day, independent woman Thejaswini, a tech-freak who can’t do away with her mobile at any time of the day. She is progressive in her thoughts and actions, shuns superstitions and lives a life rooted in practicality. However, she’s forced to buy a new phone under mysterious circumstances, after which her life takes a turn for the worse. She seeks the help of her business partner, friend Antony to uncover the mystery behind a series of supernatural events. They discover murky truths beyond their comprehension but are determined to end this menace. The viewer too is more eager than ever to dig deeper into this world.

Manju Warrier, at her ravishing best, leaves no stone unturned to play Thejaswini in a film that reflects the larger reality of the technology-driven society. Playing a woman of strength comes naturally to the actress and there’s no better example than Chathur Mukham to reassert her versatility in a rarely-explored genre in Indian cinema. The novel blend of horror and technology is certain to provide an out-of-the-box viewing experience to audiences. Written by Abhayakumar K, Anil Kurian, the film’s lifeline is its haunting sound design by Dawn Vincent, enriched by Abinandhan Ramanujam’s captivating visuals. Jiss Toms and Justin Thomas have produced the movie under Jiss Toms Movies and Manju Warrier Productions.
