Devi Sri Prasad is a Popular Telugu Singer,Music Director and also a lyricist . Devi Sri Prasad born on 2nd August 1979 at Vedurupaka in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh and moved to Chennai. His father G Sathya Murthy is a writer and by profession a school teacher. He did his schooling at Chennai and participated in singing and dancing competitions and won several laurels. He pocketed numerous prizes at several Inter School Dance and Music Competitions. His zeal for music made him release his first musical album “Dance Party”. He is a student of renowned Mandolin Player U Srinivas. He is a big fan of the music maestros Ilaya Raja and A R Rahman.

“Devi” (released in 1999) is the first film as a music composer for Devi Sri Prasad. With this start, he has gone ahead with scoring music for many Telugu Hit Movies. Today he is one of the famous music directors, the Telugu Cinema can boast of.

He is also a good dancer. He has penned few lyrics for few Telugu films.
He has appeared on screen in a song sequence in Attharintiki Daredi
He has also lent his voice as a play back singer.
His younger brother Sagar is also a playback siner and a T V Anchor.
