Popular Tollywood comedian Dharmavarapu Subramanyam passed away succumbed to cancer on saturday(07.12.2013), at his residence in Dilshukh Nagar.Dharmavarapu Subramanyam born in a middle class family in Komminenivari Palem village in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh on 9th of August 1960. His interest in acting has lured him to film acting.
Like the Great comedian Brahmanandam , Dharmavarapu Subramanyam was a Mimicry artiste prior to Films. He was Very popular with his “Anandobrahma” a comedy serial in Hyderabad Doordarsan in late 70’s and early80,s. His entry in a major role was in Jandhyala’s film Jayyammu Nischayammura” in the year 1990.He has developed his own style of action and is entertaining the cine goers with his comedy. He has impressed one and all with comedy as sales Representative in the film “Manmadhudu” along with Akkineni Nagarjuna.
He was the  presenter of  “Ding Dong” a TV show in Sakshi TV.
He has directed a film”Tokaleni Pitta “ with Naresh in the lead role.
has acted in 200 plus films.
