Dhoolipala Seetharama Sastry was born at Dachepalli ,in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh on 24th of September 1921. He was a great stage and film actor. He was a character actor in 1960’s and 70’s. He was best suited for mythological characters. With a commanding voice and big eyes his diction of dialogues and face expressions was very impressive.
For about a decade Dhoolipala was amongst the group of S V Ranga Rao, Gummadi, Nagaiah, Mikkilineni, Mukkamala, the great character actors of the Telugu Cinema.
