Mohan Lal unveils Lyca Productions “: EmL2puraan” first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran

The much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, titled L2: Empuraan, is generating significant buzz. Produced by Lyca Productions, known for backing high-budget projects with star-studded casts, the film continues the story with Malayalam superstar Mohanlal in the lead. The first part, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, was a massive success, and the expectations for the sequel are already sky-high. The makers are aiming to exceed these expectations with an even grander production.

In honor of Mohanlal’s birthday, the makers unveiled the first look of his character, Qureshi Abram, which received an enthusiastic response. Following this, on the occasion of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s birthday, the first look of his character, Zayed Masood, was released. Prithviraj plays Zayed Masood, Qureshi Abram’s trusted right-hand man. The poster showcasing Zayed Masood’s fierce and commanding presence as an “Emperor General” has impressed fans and raised excitement for the film.

Alongside Mohanlal and Prithviraj, the film features a stellar cast including Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Nandu, and Saniya Iyappan, who are set to reprise their roles from the first installment. L2: Empuraan is being filmed across multiple international and domestic locations, including Ladakh, Chennai, Kottayam, the US, and the UK. The team is currently shooting in Thiruvananthapuram and will soon move to Gujarat and the UAE for the next schedule.

The film is slated for a 2025 release in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, promising to captivate audiences across India.
