Interview With Sreemukhi
Sreemukhi is an upcoming actress in Tollywood. She is making her debut as a Heroine in Tollywood with the movie “PREMA ISHQ KADHAL” directed by a debutant director Pavan Saddineni and produced by Bekkam Venugopal (Gopi) under Lucky Media banner.
Businessoftollywood.com interviewed Ms.Sreemukhi on 4th June 2013. The interview progressed like this.
Q. What is Your Full Name?
Sreemukhi Rathod.
Q. What is your Date of birth?
I was born on 10th May in the year 1993.
Q. Your Family background?
My father is a retired Government Employee, my mother is a Beautician and an younger brother, pursuing his B.Tech 1st Year.
Q. What is your educational background?
I completed my Intermediate from Hyderabad in 2010 and now I am pursuing B.D.S 2nd year.
Q. Do you have any filmy back ground?
No ,I don’t have any.
Q. Before Entering into movies did you act anywhere?
I used to anchor the show Adhurs (Season-1) with Pradeep which was Telecast on E.T.V. Channel . I even anchored the show Money Money on Maa T.V.
Q. How did you enter into films?
First I got the chance in the movie ‘Saradhi’, directed by Harshath Vidheya (he is also a debutant director) and produced by Srinivas Gonuguntala and Indrasena Choudary under Chitratapaswi Banner. I was paired opposite to Arvind Krishna. I Got this opportunity, when Arvind Krishna came to our show Adhurs, he saw me and asked me whether I am interested to act in Movies. I accepted the proposal. My first debut movie was ‘Julai’ (2012) in which I acted as Bunny’s sister. I got this opportunity when director Trivikram sir called me up and asked me whether I am interested to act in Sister roles ,I accepted this proposal immediately as he called me on Rakee Pournami and it was sister sentiment. I even acted in” Life Is Beautiful”(2012) as a rich girl, married to a middle class boy.Mr. Pavan saw my photographs in internet and gave me this opportunity.
Q. your role in the movie”Prema Ishq Kadhal‘?
I am acting as a bold and strong girl , who doesn’t like boys. I am paired opposite to Harish. I am acting as a software engineer working in a software company.
Q. How is your relation with your Co stars and the technical staff?
All my Co stars, my director and myself, we all are of same age, so I am enjoying every moment of the shooting. Iam really having fun.
Q. Can you tell us something about your movie locations?
Some locations were Rama Naidu Studios and Rama Naidu Studios Nanakramguda, Most of the film was shot at the Coffee Shop Set.
Q. What is your most memorable experience while shooting this movie?
My memorable experience was, when we were shooting at Rama Naidu studios , Mr.Chota.K. Naidu Sir ,the popular Cinematographer came to the sets,He joined me for lunch which was thrilling .He is very friendly. I even had some memorable moments on sets like celebration of birthdays.
Q. With which top heroes you want to act in future?
I want to act with Pawan Kalyan . He is my favourite hero and I like Ranbir Kapoor.
Q. Who is your role model in the industry?
The great actress Savithri Garu , Soundarya Garu and now a days heroine Nithya Menon are my role models.I like their performances on screens.
Q. What you wanted to become before entering into movies?
From my childhood I had a dream of becoming Doctor because most of my cousins ,my uncle are doctors, that is the reason I am doing my B.D.S. I got an opportunity as an actress and entered into this industry.
Q. Do you want to act in any particular film industry?
No, I am not very particular about the industries( Tollywood, Bollywood, Kollywood, Malayalam and Kannada) if I get a good role , I will definitely act .
Q. Which is your favorite movie?
I watch all movies in Telugu and Hindi . I don’t like action movies. I like Romantic,Comedy and Thriller Movies.I have many favorite movies.
Q. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies are I watch T.V., I like spending time with my family, friends and cousins.I like playing Video games and mobile phone games. I don’t like to go out much and I even don’t like shopping.
Q. Your Favourite holiday spot?
I don’t have any particular holiday spot , but my dream is having a world tour.
Q. Your upcoming projects in Telugu?
Right now I am doing “Prema Ishq Kadhal”. 60% of shooting is being completed and “Saradhi” is in post Production.We should wait and watch which movie releases first.
Q. Any dream role?
Yes, I have a dream role. The role of Preethi Zinta in the movie Veer-Zara.
Q. What type of roles you prefer?
I prefer very clean, decent and good roles.
