K.Balachander is a great Telugu and Tamil movie director and also producer. He is born on 9^th July 1930 at Nannilam in Tamil Nadu.

He completed his B.Sc (zoogly) at Annamalai Universty in the year 1940.

He introduced two gems Kamal Hasan, Rajinikanth to the Telugu film industry.

He did many splendid movies in Telugu cinema such as ‘Rudra Veena’, ’Maro Charitra’, ’Akali Rajyam’ which are evergreen movies.
He used to extract the actor from the person and make him involve in the role . He is still Active director.
He won national award for the movie “Rudra Veena”.
