Story: Venky (Gopichand) helps Warrangal Babji’s sister Neetu elope from her the marriage arranged by her brother and marry her boyfriend. So Warrangal Babji is after Venky to take revenge. Venky goes to Hyderabad to stay with his friend Shyamala. There he meets Chandrakala (Rakul Preet Singh) and falls in love with her. He tries hard to impress her and finally she accepts his love. Then comes the twist in the story, Venky comes to know that she is the younger sister of Warrangal Babji. His men even caught Venky’s father to know the whereabouts of venky. Venky starts for Warrangla. How does he convince Warangal Babji to marry Chandrakala? and Rescue his father ? should be watched on the silver screen.
Performance : Gopichand has done his best in action and comedy scenes. He is looking handsome and dashing. Rakul Preet Singh is looking gorgeous.. Brahmanandam’s role is good and his action is one of the highlight to the movie. All the other actors present has done justice to their roles. Hamsa Nandini’s role though small has added entertainment to the movie and the song ‘Surr Supero’ is good. Prithviraj’s spoof characterization will tickle our funny bones and now his surname ’30 years industry’ is going to change to ‘Boiling star’.
Conclusion : This is an action comedy entertainer. First half of the movie is slightly boring but the second half is entertaining.’Ninnu choodagane’ are wrongly placed. We cannot find any story and in many places logic was missing. For example, heroine sends a message to hero and we can see on her mobile screen ‘To Venky’ and then when she meets him asks him by the way what is your name. All the songs except But the director used the same formula of hero staying with villains and by making them fools gets his works done.
Pros :
- Gopichand
- Comedy
- Two songs
- Production Values
Cons :
- First half
- Routine story
- Wrong placement of some songs
