Overview

Two small children, who are brothers, lose their parents in a fire lighted by goons and are separated. They grow up and become criminals. One is played by Krishna, while the other is played Mohan Babu. Krishna becomes 'BABA' (Robinhood) aka Gopi, steals from corrupt businessmen and smugglers and help poor people with the help of his sidekicks Suri Padmanabham and Jayamalini. Once he steals Diamonds from Diamond smuggler Seethapathi, Nagabhushanam (actor). Seethapathi employees Toofan (Mohan Babu) to counter Baba attacks on him. They become enemies, not knowing that they are brothers. A CBI trainee Sunitha Jayaprada daughter of Police Commissioner M. Prabhakar Reddy, goes undercover in the name of Geetha in Krishna's gang of Padmanabham and Jayamalini to catch him. She and Krishna fall in love, but Jayamalini doesn't trust her as she loves Krishna herself.
