Overview

"Krishna Ghattam" is a tale of morality and reform. Amidst turmoil, Prasad decides to stand tall. A casanova's pursuits meet his nemesis. A self-righteous boy is tested. Will there be reform? "Krishna Ghattam" draws inspiration from the 16th Chapter of Mahabharatha, where Lord Krishna abandons the people of Dwaraka due to the growing malevolence amongst them. The film centers on Prasad, a respected village figure and an ardent actor, who is asked to play Lord Krishna in the revered mythological play, "Krishna Ghattam". Rajesh, a spoilt playboy, pursues Ramaa, a simple slum dweller. The morality of Sarat, a self-proclaimed epitome of goodness is tested when he meets Latha, a prostitute with integrity. With lives converging and turmoil blazing in the village, Prasad decides to reform than to abandon. "Krishna Ghattam" explores the dichotomy between wisdom and intelligence in this gripping village saga.
