Pallaki

Overview

Pallaki' (The Palanquin) tells the story of an old Palanquin Owner (Subbadu), who was also a farmer. Subbadu is in ill health. He is living with the memories of Pallaki and his landlord Friend, who passed away more than a decade ago. When his Landlord's son comes to him and informs him that his son is getting married in a near by town, and he wants Subbadu to arrange for the Palanquin, Subbadu is elated. He prepares the Palanquin beautifully and gets it ready for the wedding. Two days before the wedding, he receives a news. Pallaki is a unique film that upholds India's Great Heritage and Culture. It is a visual treat to watch for all Indians, particularly the NRIs across the globe.
