N.Shankar in Oscar Screening committee

For Oscar Awards nomination process the Film Federation of India will select a committee of 16-member jury to screen different language movies from different parts of India. The committee consists of celebrities from film industry of different language films. Nimmala Shankar, a Tollywood  director has been nominated as a member of Oscar Screening Committee.  On 17th September the assortment board containing directors, actors and technicians from all over the country will view movies nominated from India in Hyderabad.

N.Shankar has directed movies like Sri Ramulayya, Encounter, Jayam Manadera, Bhadrachalam and Jai Bolo Telengana and earlier he was also member of National Films Awards committee. He is happy and feel honoured to have been nominated and even feel more responsible.

Producer and director C.V.Reddy is already one of the member of this 16-member jury.
