Pattudala Movie Review

Emotional Engagement Emoji

A couple after completing 12 years of married life facing many challenges are on the verge of getting divorced and decide to go on one last long drive . The hero convinces the heroine to allow him to drop her at her parents place saying that they both deserve this time with each other . The couple gets trapped into an unwanted situation when the heroine gets kidnapped in the middle of the journey and how the series of events follow is to be seen in the movie.

Thala Ajith Kumar plays the lead role and is there in almost all scenes right from the start to the end , Trisha plays the female lead and is the major character around which the story revolves . Action King Arjun and Regina Cassandra play the negative roles and have given good performances. Ajith Kumar carried the story on himself and does justice to his character. Trisha does really well in the scope she has to perform and she looks brilliant as always even in simple costumes. The movie is shot entirely in Azerbaijan with some heavy action sequences in expensive cars and scenic locations .The story fails to keep the viewer engaged and the screenplay is not gripping to match the kind of emotion trying to be conveyed in the movie. Music is decent with good BGM in all scenes. There is an overdose of Azerbaijani language which makes it boring in some scenes due to the monotony.

Overall it is a one time watch in the theaters for those who admire Ajith , Trisha and like watching action movies.
