Usha was born on May 29th in the year 1980 in Nagarjuna sagar, Andhra pradesh. Usha started her singing carrer with the music based programme “Padutha Teeyaga“on the Eenadu Telivision hosted by the legendery singer the great S P BALASUBRAMANYAM. She stood first in the competition and later she participated in many other music based shows and she stood first in another competition “NAVARAGAM” in Gemini Television. Usha paticipated in many music related shows between 1996-2000.

She won the hearts of everyone by her performance in the programme “ENDARO MAHANUBHAULU”. She later participated in “MERI AWAZ SUNO” in Star Plus and she was one of three  finalists in all india finals. Later she also patricipated in many other Hindi shows on channels like ELTV and ZEE TV. Usha started her film career with a song in the film “ILLALU” music director VANDEMATARAM SRINIVAS gave her the first opportunity in this film. She got the major break in the tollywood in the year2000. She sang in many telugu movies like Indra, Chirutha, Athidi, Varsham, Bhadra, Chitram, Nuvvu Nennu, Manasantha Nuvve, Nee Sneham, Santhosham, Jayam, Nuvvu Leka Nennu Lenu, Avunanna Kadanna and many more. She participated nearly in 150 concerts across the world apart from her solo concerts. She sang with many legendary singers and muscianslike S P Balasubramanyam, Sshankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Manisharma, P Suseela, Mano and many more. Apart from all these performances her biggest achievement was participating with the great legendery singer S P Balasubramanyam at the AFRO -ASIAN games opening cermony held in 2003 at Hyderabad.
