Rajanikanth Sivaji Rao Gaikwad was born on 12th of December 1950 in Bangalore city of Karnataka State; in a maharastrian  family. He has two brothers and a sister. He struggled for existence at his tender age. He was a Govt. Public Transport  bus conductor for a long time. He was interested in acting and took part in stage plays. One of his stage plays attracted the popular Director K Balachander and thus his entry into Kollywood. He is the most popular and the most influential person in Tamil Nadu as well in the country.. He is the most popular Actor in South India. He has also acted in many Hindi hit films.Also acted in Telugu straight movies. But is popular for Telugus with many Tamil films dubbed to Telugu. He has his own style of action. He is more popular for his mannerisms . He received many awards in Kollywood and Tamil Nadu govt. film Awards. Rajani Kanth was honored with Padmabhushan in the year 2000. He also received many awards as the most Popular Indian Personality. To be precise his popularity has no bounds. Rajanikanth married Latha in the year 1991.They have two daughters by names Aiswarya and Saundarya. Aiswarya got married to Tamil hero Dhanush. Dhanush lent his voice for a Kolaveri(Tamil song) which is now the talk of the country. The song became a sensational hit.Saundarya is working in the film industry as producer, director and graphic designer. She is married to an  Chennai Industrialist .
