Queen of Masses Kajal Aggarwal plays the lead role in the movie Satyabhama, with Naveen Chandra playing the pivotal role of Amarender. This film is produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivasa Rao Takkalapalli under the banner of Aurum Arts. Major film director Sashi Kiran Tikka served as the presenter and screenplay writer. Satyabhama is a crime thriller directed by Suman Chikkala and is set for a grand theatrical release on June 7. The press meet for this movie was held today in Hyderabad.
Movie presenter and screenplay writer Sashi Kiran Tikka said Along with the script of my new movie, I have also been writing the script of Satyabhama. Suman Chikkala seemed to be a good director for this project, so we entrusted him with the responsibility. My friend Ramesh Prashant told me this story during the time of Goodachari. After listening to this story, the audience felt it was one that needed to be told. After completing Major, we began improving the script for Satyabhama. I have several exciting stories; some I direct myself, and others are handled by my team members. There is no reason why Satyabhama should not be adapted into other languages. This movie is entirely based in our Hyderabad, a local story with our nativity. Thats why we decided to perfect it in Telugu first before considering other languages.
Producer Bobby Tikka said Our movie Satyabhama, with its crime thriller storyline, has been made to appeal to all sections of the audience. We are bringing it to theaters on June 7 and hope you will support our movie.
Director Suman Chikkala said The story of Satyabhama includes both action and emotion. A police officer is not just about wearing a uniform and doing action; there is emotion in Kajals character. In dealing with a case, she takes it personally and investigates it. We chose Kajal because she can handle both action and emotion. Every police officers journey includes a special case they handle. Kajals character takes a case personally in this film, and it becomes emotional. Whether justice is served or not is the story of Satyabhama.
Queen of Masses Kajal Aggarwal said I made a new attempt in my career with the movie Satyabhama. This is the first time I am doing such a character and movie. When I heard the story, I liked it and felt it was new, so I decided to do the movie. I didnt have a specific type of story or character in mind. I will do any genre if the content is good. Before Satyabhama, I had many offers for femaleoriented movies, but I wanted to take them on only when I was confident enough. I feel a sense of responsibility rather than pressure when doing ladyoriented movies. This film has many new emotions. For the first time in my career, I did action and performed huge stunts, working hard for them. Satyabhama is not my second innings, but one can think my career will go in another new direction. Acting is my passion, and thats why I returned to movies after focusing on my personal life. In this film, my character balances both personal and professional life. During the making of this film, we met a senior police officer who explained how criminals today are committing crimes using technology such as gaming and virtual reality. We found his insights very interesting and incorporated them into the story. Ive always wanted to do a fulllength action movie, and I feel that desire has been fulfilled with Satyabhama.
Music director Sricharan Pakala said As a music director, I dont want to be typecast as someone who only does certain types of films. However, most of the films I have done are thrillers, such as action thrillers, spy thrillers, and psychological thrillers. Satyabhama is a cop thriller, and it was great working with Sashi kiran again. Kajal is the heroine, and I have been very meticulous with the music for this film. I also got the chance to sing a song with MM Keeravaani garu for this movie. There are many good singers, so I dont usually sing songs in my films.
