SIFCC 100 Years of Indian Cinema Celebrations From Today

South India Film Chamber of Commerce in association with all the four South Indian Film chambers and Tamil Nadu Government  is celebrating the 100 Years of Indian Cinema on a large scale.

The Event will start to day(21.09.2013) and conclude on 24th of September.

The Venue for the Event is Jawahar Lal Nehru Indoor stadium.

The Inaugural day will be for Tamil cinema,which start at around 4.00PM today with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Inaugurating the Event. K Rossaiah,Governer of Tamil Nadu will be the Chief Guest.

The morning session of 22nd September is for the Kannada Film Industry.

The Evening Session is for the Celebrations of Telugu Film Industry.The Union Ministers Chiranjeevi and D K Aruna will attend the event along with Raja Narasimha,the deputy Chief Minister of A P and Bothsa Sathyanarayana,President of APPCC.

The morning session of 23rd is for the Celebrations of Malayalam Film Industry.

Akkineni Nageswara Rao Birthday will be celebrated in the evening of 23rd September.

The concluding day of the festival is on 24th of September with the President of India and all the south Indian Chief Ministers attending it.

President of India will honour 7 persons each from all the 4 South Indian Languages.

Popular Tamil,Telugu,Kannada and Malayalam movies will be screened in selected theatres in Chennai as part of the celebrations.

Many celebrities from all the four South Indian Cinemas will take part in the celebrations.
