Tanikella Bharini

A writer, literary scholar, dialogue writer, actor and short film director Thanikella Bharani is an all rounder in the Telugu Cinema.

He was born on 14.07.1956 in a middle class family at Hyderabad. He is a commerce graduate. His passion for stage acting found a good friend in Rallapalli. With Rallapalli’s support and encouragement he entered to Telugu cinema as a script writer/dialogue writer through the film “kanchu kavacham” (1984) directed by Rajasekhar reddy wherein he played a small role.

His Telugu film journey took momentum with “Ladies Tailor” as an actor and dialogue writer. In 1989 he came to prominence with Ramgopal Varma’s “siva” as an actor and then on he has become a busy actor. He plays as a comedian, villainy roles and supporting (character) roles.
