Thaman and Jr Ntr the magical combination (2)

Jr.Ntr’s movies will usually have a lot to do with music, the songs should be good enough for all his perfect dance moves, the background score should be dynamic enough for all the rip-roaring fights, the beats peppy enough for all the amazing item numbers of his movies. Now, who other than Thaman, the latest music sensation in Tollywood can be good enough for all that?

The music director who has carved his own niche in the Telugu movie world with his amazing music that is just perfect for all the emotion, drama and action in Tolly movies, has worked with Jr.Ntr for three films, Baadshah, Brindavanam and the recently released Ramayya Vastavayya all of which were massive musical hits.

In a single movie, Thaman’s music varies quite a lot, from a slow, heart wrenching melody to a foot tapping peppy beat to a grippingly intense background score for the fights. Ramayya Vasthavayya, the movie that showed Jr.Ntr in almost every angle possible is the best possible explanation for this with the songs, ‘Neneppudaina’, which had the perfect tune to depict the intense emotions between Jr.Ntr and Shruti Haasan, ‘Jabilli nuvve cheppama’, which was really good for the lighthearted romance between Samantha and Jr.Ntr and Ontarella which had the right amount of energy for the situation.

For the movie Baadshah where the duo worked together previously, Thaman did a good job as well where the background music was one of his best works and the songs, Banthipoola janaki, Diamond girl and Welcome welcome are still among the top ten songs as of now. Brindavanam, the first ever movie that they worked for, was yet another example for how their combination could be a musical hit with all the hit songs like nijamena and eyi raja which stand out as some of the best compositions ever in tollywood. Thaman and Jr.Ntr, undoubtedly make for the magical musical combination and hopefully, the duo will work together for a lot more movies to come.
