The OTT rights for Thandel have been sold for an impressive ₹45 crores

The much-anticipated movie “Thandel” is set to create waves in the Indian film industry. Starring popular actors Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, this romantic action thriller is directed by Chandu Mondeti and produced by the well-known GA2 Pictures and Geetha Arts.

As the excitement builds, it’s impressive to note that the film has already made significant financial strides even before its release. The OTT rights for “Thandel” have been sold for an impressive ₹45 crores, which means that around 60% of the film’s budget of ₹75 crores has been recovered through these rights alone. Netflix has acquired the exclusive streaming rights, further enhancing the film’s visibility and reach.

In addition to the OTT deal, the satellite rights have been sold to Zee Telugu, showcasing the movie’s strong market appeal. One of the standout features of “Thandel” is a grand song sequence that has been shot with a whopping 900 dancers, which had a production cost of ₹4 crores. The combined total for satellite and music rights has reached approximately ₹55 crores, indicating that the film has already recovered its budget through these strategic deals.

All additional earnings from ticket sales will serve as a bonus for Geetha Arts and GA2 Pictures, highlighting the film’s promising potential for profitability.
