Veturi Sundararam Murthy birth anniversary today

Veturi Sundararam Murthy popularly known as Veturi  was a poet, Lyricist.  Veturi born on 29th of January 1936 to Chandrasekhar Sastry and Kamalamba in Pedakallepalli , Krishna District, AP.

Today  Veturi’s 85th Birth birth anniversary.

Veturi finished his schooling in Diviseema, near Vijayawada and has completed Intermediate at Chennai. He has done his graduation from SRR Government College, Vijayawada.

He was married to Sita Maha Lakshmi and has 3 sons, Ravi Prakash, Chandrasekhar and Nanda Kishore.

Veturi started his career with the movie “O Seeta Katha “(1974) in which he penned the lyrics for Burrakatha. Later he became a very popular lyricist in Telugu film industry with the movie “Adavi Ramudu” released in the year 1974. He  penned lyrics for many movies.
