Toofan movie review:

Zanjeer has been creating quite a buzz from the time it was announced and finally got released today. There were a lot of apprehensions of the release of its Telugu version Toofan with the ongoing protests in the state but there was no such incident which happened. Toofan released all over the state today and here is the review exclusively by Businessoftollywood.com.

Story: ACP Vijay Khanna(Ram Charan) is a sincere cop and he is transferred very often for his intervention in the local political activities. As a result, he comes to Mumbai and takes charge. He takes up the case of the dead collector who died while capturing the atrocities of oil mafia. Mala(Priyanka Chopra) is the only witness of this murder and seeks her help to solve the case. He later realizes that the main head behind all this is Rudra Pratap Teja (Prakash Raj). The rest of the story revolves around how Vijay destroys the oil mafia with the help of Sher khan (Sri Hari) and Jaydev(Tanikella Bharani).

Artists: Ram Charan suited the bill perfectly as an angry young cop. He showed a lot of maturity in his action. Priyanka chopra has done a fabulous job. There is every chance they both might win film fare awards for their performances. Prakash Raj is the highlight of the film. His comedy timing is superb. His scenes with Mahie Gill are very entertaining. Sri Hari was very good in the character of sher khan. Tanikella Bharani also did a fine job.

Technicians: Apoorva Lakhia proved that he is a director of Hollywood standard. The direction of the movie is exceptional. The way he adapted the classic Zanjeer is fantabulous. Excellent screenplay and dialoges make Toofan an entertaining and a gripping film. With the success of Zanjeer/ Toofan, Apoorva will be given opportunities by bollywood biggies. The cinematography is the major asset of the film. Songs are good and the background score is awesome. The length of the film is a bit less but the audience would have enjoyed if the action was even more. Editing is fantastic and crisp.

Overall: The film is a tribute to old Zanjeer and is surely the best remake so far. Do not miss this chance.
