Here is our conversation details with her.
Please tell us about you?
I was born and brought up from Kerala and presently in Mumbai. My parents work in Bank (bank of baroda and State bank of travancore) and my brother is pursuing CA studies. I have done my Engineering from (College of engg , trivandrum)
Why you opted modeling?
When I was in college I used to participate in Inter College Fashion Shows. After winning some Fashion shows, TV shows and commercials people approached me and I started working for them.
What made you to attract towards this cine field?
Before coming into Cine field, I was a very studious girl. When I started shooting for commercials I realized my actual interest. I started enjoying my work. So I decided to continue in the field. I am really passionate about acting and with such an ease I can work 365 days without getting tired.
Have you learnt acting anywhere?
I didn’t go for any kind of acting course as such. I started acting from my first movie (ninaivil nindraval). And the director agastya bharati, liked it very much. I was motivated by his compliments. I never felt need to do any course till now.but if in future, I need to hone my skills, I m open to the idea.
Tell us about your present movie “20.11”?
At present I am working for “20.11” movie Directed by Vamsi Krishna Sir, scripted by brothers Dharma-raksha (of Rakhtacharita fame). It’s a horror movie. We were trained for 10 days before starting the movie, where director and Dharma sir made sure we get the feel of the movie. The script and screenplay is amazing. In this movie I am playing the role of Rachana, a newly wedded house wife. She is very innocent girl and loves her Husband. At the same time she is easily scared.
How supporting was the cast and crew of the movie?
As its just second day of shoot, I can’t say much about the cast and crew. I have worked with only Sudheer and Jyothi till now. Jyothi is fun filled and she is always crack jokes on the sets. Sudheer is also quite dedicated at work. Director Vamshi sir is very hard working .the associate director Kiran helps me with my frame of mind and expressions. Dharma sir has excellent clarity and visualisation for each scene of the movie and he is helping us at every stage .I admire all 3 for their inputs.
What are the challenges faced by you in Tollywood?
I know many languages of south like Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada but still Telugu is the biggest challenge for me. I will learn it soon. For example if I need a glass of water I ask my crew members how to speak out the same in Telugu. Likewise I am trying hard to speak it out.
Have you worked for any commercials?
I have worked for commercials like Airtel, Pantene, Garnier, Prince Jewelry, Duro Flex, Chennai Diamond, and Easy off Bang.
What kind of cinema grabs your attention?
I love thriller movies especially theHollywoodone. But in Indian cinema I love comedy movies. As per me, we are the best one in comedy movies and I love romantic movies also.
Who is your Role Model?
In My family I should say my cousin sister. She is an idol for me and because of her, I got edge over modeling. In celebrities I love and admire Aishwarya rai Bacchan for her beauty and acting.
What are your Hobbies?
I love playing Badminton. Dancing and some other.
What kind of roles you would like to do in future?
In Telugu definitely something which is not horror, because the movies which are lined up for me are horror movies. I love to do some fun filled roles especially teenage roles. And I would like to do Comedy movies even.
Who is your favorite Actor?
I am a big fan of Nagarjuna. I like Jr.NTR and also Ram Charan Tej for his acting in “Magadheera”.
