J. Jayalalitha Sr. (24-02-1948)

Jayalalitha, One of the Popular Heroines of South Indian Cinema, born at Mellukote village near Mysore, in Karnataka on 24^th of February1948. She is the daughter of Actress Sandhya. She has acted in many telugu and tamil films. She made her debut in Tollywood with the film Manushulu-Mamathalu an A N R starrer. Jayalaitha is the present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. She has paired with M G R in many Tamil films. She has acted with ANR, NTR, Krishna and Jaggaiah in Telugu. In the first telugu Jamesbond type movieGoodachari 116 she paired with Krishna. In the film Aame Yevaru (1966) she played the role what Sadhana played in the Hindi original Who Kaun Thi (1964) and did justice to the role she played. Jayalalitha last Telugu film is Doctor Babu with Sobhan Babu in the Main lead role.

She was a staunch follower of MGR and she worked for MGR’S Anna DMK. Jaya Lalitha is the present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
