Kaikala sathyanaraya, a talented and versatile actor of the Telugu Cinema.born on 25th july, 1935 to kaikala Laxmi Narayana couple.He was from a middle class Family located at Kautaram Village in Krishna District of A P. He graduate from Gudivada and reached Madras for trying his luck in cinema. With his well built physic and with a commanding voice he was offered a hero role by D L Narayana in the movie Sipayi Koothuru which was directed by changaya .
Though he entered as a hero he was best known as character artist and villain. He also acted in B vitalacharya directed folklore movies as a villain. Sathyanarayana has his own style of action as a villain and as a Character actor.
He was best known for his roles in mythological movies.

He has given his best for the role “KARNA” in SRI KRISHNARJUNA YUDDHAM”,

As “DUSSASANUDU” in the film “NARTHANA SALA”,

As “DHURYODHANUDU” in SRI KRISHNAVATHARAM”,

As KRISHNADEVRAYALU” in “KATHANAYAKIMOLLA”,

His performance as “YAMADHARMA RAJU” in the social fanatacies like “YAMA GOLA” and “YAMA LEELA’ can be termed as the best.

He was awarded with Natasekhara ,kalaprapurna and Navarasa Natanaa Sarvabhouma in his cinema career.
