The makers of Bhogi have unveiled the first look of Anupama Parameswaran as Kandula Sulochana Rani, offering a glimpse into one of the film’s most grounded and powerful characters.

Starring Sharwanand in the lead and directed by Sampath Nandi, Bhogi is a large-scale pan-India period action drama produced by K. K. Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner.

Anupama’s look presents her as a rustic village belle, walking barefoot through a dusty rural setting, carrying a basket of leaves and a tiffin box—instantly establishing her as a hardworking and resilient woman. Her intense expression and traditional styling hint at a character deeply rooted in nature and driven by inner strength.

Kandula Sulochana Rani is portrayed as a spirited woman who earns her livelihood by crafting leaf plates from Moduga leaves, symbolizing both survival and strength. The character is expected to play a crucial emotional anchor in the narrative.

The team has recently completed major action schedules across Rajamahendravaram and the forest regions of Rampachodavaram and Maredumilli, with the next schedule set to begin in Hyderabad.

Also starring Dimple Hayathi, Bhogi is set in the early 1960s and unfolds in a fictional village along the Telangana–Maharashtra border. With music by Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematography by Kishore Kumar Arokia, the film promises a visually rich and emotionally intense experience.

Positioned as a major pan-India release, Bhogi is slated to hit theatres on August 28 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, coinciding with the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
