Gaayapadda Simham, the quirky modern entertainer headlined by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas, has been generating solid buzz with every update β€” from the trailer and promotional track to the recently released vibrant bride song. Presented by Pavan Sadineni, the film is jointly produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios. Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary play the female leads.

The makers have now unveiled another key character β€” JD Chakravarthy as Brutal Dharma β€” through a striking new glimpse. True to his name, the introduction presents a chilling yet stylish antagonist. Sporting sharp outfits, dark shades, and a chunky gold chain, JD exudes effortless swagger, while his performance evokes a flattering retro-gangster vibe.

The glimpse hints at Dharma’s involvement in illegal logistics, drugs, and weapons, all tied to a company named Satya Logistics. It ends on a darkly humorous note, with Dharma abruptly shooting a henchman mid-monologue and casually asking his team if they expected him to wait for the speech to finish. The moment neatly blends JD’s trademark intensity with dark comedy, promising a menacing yet entertaining character.

JD Chakravarthy’s savage makeover, commanding presence, attitude, and retro flair make Brutal Dharma a standout addition β€” one that’s poised to be among the film’s major highlights.

On the technical front, the film boasts a strong crew. Vidya Sagar Chinta handles cinematography, Sweekar Agasthi composes the music, Viplav Nyshadam takes care of editing, and Chandrika Gorrepati shapes the unique visual design. The story is written by Surya Prakash Jyosula.

Gaayapadda Simham is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on May 1.
