The team of Pithapuramlō… Alā Modalaindi recently held a press meet, interacting with the media ahead of its grand theatrical release on May 1. The film is produced by Dundigalla Balakrishna, Akula Suresh Patel, and F.M. Murali (Godavari Kittayya) under the Mahesh Chandra Cinema Team banner and directed by Mahesh Chandra.
The film features a strong ensemble cast including Rajendra Prasad, Prudhviraj, Kedar Shankar, Manichandana, Annapurnamma, Sunny Akhil, Virat, Sai Praneeth, Srilu, Prathyusha, and Rehana in key roles.
Speaking at the event, producer Dundigalla Balakrishna revealed that a major portion of the film was shot in Pithapuram, fulfilling a promise made by the director. He emphasized that the film is a complete family drama with no political elements, focusing on the emotional bond between a father and daughter.
Producer F.M. Murali shared his personal connection to the film, stating that his own house was used as a shooting location. Impressed by the director’s vision and storytelling, he decided to be part of the project as a producer.
Akula Suresh Patel highlighted his admiration for director Mahesh Chandra’s earlier work and explained that the script was carefully developed with strong dialogues and emotional depth. He also mentioned that veteran actor Rajendra Prasad delivers a powerful performance as the ‘President,’ which is expected to be one of the film’s highlights.
The makers expressed confidence that the film will connect strongly with audiences, especially families, with its emotional narrative. Early screenings have reportedly received positive responses, with viewers appreciating the heartfelt storytelling.
